Another “van life” camper believes she saw Brian Laundrie “acting weird” near the site where Gabby Petito’s body was discovered in Wyoming — and claims she tipped off the FBI to her remains.Jessica Schultz, a graphic designer who has been living in a camper for over four years, told the San Francisco Chronicle that she got caught behind a slow-moving white van near Grand Teton National Park in late August.When she passed the van, she said she noticed a “generic” young white guy behind the wheel, alone in the vehicle, and notified the feds Thursday about her sighting when she heard about the search for the missing Long Island native.On Tuesday, authorities confirmed that the remains found at the Spread Creek Dispersed Camping Area were those of Petito, whose death has been ruled a homicide as her boyfriend is being sought.Schultz, 38, told the newspaper that the FBI called her back Sunday morning, the day the body was found. She said she saw the van on Aug. 26 with the man, who she now believes was Laundrie, inside — four days before Petito supposedly last had contact with her family on Aug. 30.Schultz said she saw the white van again on the 27th and possibly the 28th without anybody else around it.“He was just acting weird,” she told the Chronicle on Monday.

Classic Women’sLong SleevedUnisex SweatshirtUnisex HoodieClassic Men’s“You know, when you’re out in the middle of nowhere, your hackles go up when you see something that’s out of the ordinary The Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers shirt .”Schultz also described her sightings on TikTok, where her posts have garnered more than a million views.“He was very awkward and confused and it was just him — there was no Gabby,” she said in her video.Schultz said the police video of a sobbing Petito outside Arches National Park near Moab, Utah, on Aug. 12 after a 911 call about a domestic incident is what convinced her that what she had seen was important.Seen on the couple’s van dashboard was a straw hat — similar to what she had noticed in the vehicle she came across later.“My friend texted me a picture of the hat on the dashboard and I just lost my s–t,” Schultz told the Chronicle. “And that’s when I called the FBI and said, ‘Guys, look at Spread Creek.’”She told the paper that she was “pretty sure” that when she drove past the van on Aug. 26, the driver got out to “look around or something.”“There’s definitely nobody in that passenger seat — like he definitely doesn’t have a girl in there,” she insisted.The following day, she said, she noticed the same van in the same area.“I was like, ‘Oh, that guy stayed the night,’” Schultz recalled telling a friend who was with her, noting that it wasn’t in a designated parking spot and that there were no indications that anyone was camping there.Schultz added that she believes she saw the van in the same spot on Aug. 28.She said an FBI agent who called her Sunday morning told her, “‘I’ve talked to hundreds of people, but you guys are the ones that really tipped us off to the right place, so thank you.’”The agency did not respond to requests for comment by the Chronicle.“We’re triumphant — we were right and we led them in the right direction,” Schultz said. “But then, of course, it’s not something you like to be right about. It’s been emotionally exhausting for sure.”Laundrie arrived back at his home in North Port, Florida, without Petito on Sept. 1. Petito was reported missing to police Sept. 11.Meanwhile, Laundrie disappeared amid a nationwide search for Petito.Police confirmed her death was a homicide Tuesday as the search for Laundrie continues.
