The Los Angeles Rams began training camp this week Ducks on the pond shirt . I decided to rank every player on the Rams training camp roster from 1-90. This isn’t necessarily a ranking based on likelihood of making the roster, but a combination of that, ability, and importance to the team. Let’s get startedAaron Donald is without a doubt the best player on the Los Angeles Rams. He’ll be going for his fourth Defensive Player of the Year award in 2021 which would be a league record. He simply makes those around him better and is a true difference maker on the defensive side of the ball. Not only is he a star on the Rams, but also a star for the entire league.It’s also worth pointing out Darious Williams and Jordan Fuller. A season ago, nobody would have expected either player to carve out a role on the team, let alone become the stars that they are. Fuller went from sixth round pick to leader on the defense. Meanwhile, Williams is now a top-two cornerback on the roster who will be in for a big payday this offseason.

When he was taking snaps from young nose tackle Greg Gaines, many were not fans. However, Joseph-Day has done nothing but do his job effectively since day one with the Rams. He was a sixth round pick in 2018 and done nothing but outplay his draft position.It might be early to have Ernest Jones this high on the list. However, it feels like the Rams really got a good one in Jones and it’s only a matter of time before he steps into a starting role. David Edwards is one of the ten best young guards in the NFL. Expect him to take a big jump in year three.It’s unfair to put Robert Rochell and TuTu Atwell in a group titled, “what have you done for me lately.” The title doesn’t apply to them. Instead, guys like Taylor Rapp, Ogbonnia Okoronkwo, and Van Jefferson really need to step up this season for the Los Angeles Rams. Taylor Rapp will have a chance to start this year and really needs to show development especially in coverage. Meanwhile, Okoronkwo has 2.5 sacks in two years. It’s time for these players to show what they got.It might also be fair to put Van Jefferson in this category. However, he’ll have a big opportunity to show off his skillset this season.
