He is so kind and compassionate with them, he helps to take care of them, he plays with them…and he’s rewarded with unconditional love and fun. We’ve had foster dogs too and he is fabulous with them. Side note: I’d never get a dog “for” my child. My son loves our dogs, but I want them too and I ultimately have the responsibility for them. They can be a part of your family for 15+ years and deserve commitment and love for their whole lives. Not saying you wouldn’t care for the dog, just something I think everyone should think about.
