Have the grandchildren already, live in west of Ireland, love a pint of Guinness, cooking I could go on, I suppose it’s the feeling of having these wonderful things uninterrupted is what retirement represents to me because when I think about it I have all these things already. I feel blessed. Try to do all of the above sooner in life than later.Retirement is not the only time one should hear the sounds of the nature that surrounds us. In the busy non stop lifestyle we live in North America we sometimes forget to enjoy the beauty of all that is around us we should strive our best to serve our souls. Time is wonderful when you know it is now limited. Time to do all the you wanted to do but never had time to. And the best of all is the time spent with grandchildren, the most joyful time of all.

I retired at 52 on disability due to a stroke. They ,the doctors and Gov’t, had me counted out. But i’ve never been busier. Fought back to being able to walk again. Take care of my 97 year old deaf mother, and granny-nanny 2 days a week for 2 of the most precious little girls in the world. It’s been a long and sometimes difficult road ,knee replacement, open heart surgery, but it has been a blessing to be here for my loved ones.I can’t stay retired forever due to financial reasons, but taking advantage of this 10 year break. I’m still pushing. Still healing. Still learning new ways to circumvent my disabilities. I appreciate that I have had this time to smell the fresh cut grass, see my grandbabies be born, and spend time with my mom. But when the disability insurance runs out next year, I hope to embrace my working come back. I am on my late 20’s, far from retirement but already doing what you would love to do when you retire, Bruce.I have my seasonal work and would have to wear and relax many times of the year. But I know what it feels to suddenly stop working after years of getting used to it. It’s like it’s part of your body already. You slowly die when you don’t work. I feel her. And I feel u too, Bruce. Then you’d be incorrect. Snarky, but incorrect ,even though a definition is just a few clicks away and the word was used in a sentence.
